"I was initially skeptical of working with a BA, but chose to go this route as it intuitively made sense to work with someone that has no other agenda than my own.   While a BA may not have deep knowledge of one given neighborhood like a local realtor may, my BA did have a solid understanding of the greater real-estate market in the area, which better suited my needs as I was not focused on one specific location.  Further, as my BA and I visited numerous properties, it was also clear how listing agents would steer us to other properties listed by their firms, that after viewing with pushy agency representatives, were not a good fit with my criteria.  This
